To date, Rossetti has designed numerous arenas, amphitheaters, stadiums, and more across the world — including Toyota Park in Chicago, University of Notre Dame Compton Family Ice Arena, and the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan for the 2015 European Games. In Michigan, they’ve renovated The Greektown Casino and Hotel, luxury apartment building The Albert, and Cobo Center. And that list is growing.
They are currently in the midst of working on a renovation of the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, the Munn Arena at Michigan State University, and are working on converting Detroit’s former public housing project, Douglass Site, into an urban neighborhood. Given their list of projects, it would seem almost as though the Rossetti team specializes in sports and entertainment venues. But ask their executives, and they will say otherwise. The highly awaited two-year construction of a Jim Brady’s restaurant in Ann Arbor finally comes to fruition.
After numerous years of the property standing vacant, the reconstruction was completed this past December by partners Tom Brady and Darin Dingman … It has been a piece of history in Downtown Ann Arbor that dates back to 1861 … on South Main in Ann Arbor’s historic district between West Washington and West Liberty avenues. Ann Arbor’s dining scene continues to grow as new restaurants and bars emerge all over town. From fine-dining to fast-casual there’s something for all tastes and budgets.
It’s been a really busy past few months as new dining options have popped up all over town. The Blue Llama Jazz Club, which combines an ambitious live music venue with eclectic small plates, opened in the heart of downtown. In addition, several expansions occurred with Michigan-based chains Jim Brady’s and Anna’s House opening Ann Arbor locations, the owners of fine dining restaurant Logan opening Chow, and Loomi made the jump from food cart to brick-and-mortar diner. This is the second location opened by the two since 2015, when the first Jim Brady's opened its doors to the public in Royal Oak, Mich. The restaurant served its first meal on December 10. Third generation restaurateur Brady has restored and renovated a piece of history in downtown Ann Arbor that dates back to the year 1861. Jim Brady's restaurant, a Michigan family-tradition since 1954, officially opened its second location at 209 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor on Monday, December 10. Hours will be Sunday through Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. until Midnight and Thursday to Saturday, 4:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., with lunch hours being added soon.

It's hard to miss. Boasting bright colors, larger-than-life photographs and retro light fixtures, the three-story restaurant was three years in the making at 209 S. Main. The establishment has a rich history, and is owned by the grandson of Jim Brady, the original owner of Diamond Jim Brady's -- a successful Detroit bar-restaurant concept inspired by the famous 19th century New York City businessman at 7 Mile and Greenfield.
